Robyn is a practicing Welsh artist currently living and teaching in London. She gained her BA (HONS) at the University of South Wales in 2013 and her MA in illustration from Camberwell College of Art in 2023.

 

Her primary study surrounds Welsh folklore and myth, inspired by the stories and landscape of her home town in South Wales where industry and ruin intertwine. Robyn translates rooted narratives and cultural themes which have formed the basis for Welsh identity through a traditional and contemporary lens using  mixed media and digital methods, 

 

The intention of her work is to reflect on the power of cultural stories, and how they influence perceptions through interaction and adaptation.
